This is an innovative programme which acts as a crime prevention plan among the indian youths with a specific aim to reduce crime rate and improve positive attitude among the indian community by 2015. Students will be exposed to character building ,sports activities and also empowerment camps during the six months program. This long term intervention is expected to have better impact as opposed to short term or one off program usually targeted at this specific population.
With the Support from School management, school teachers studnts who are underachieving acadmically will be identified and undergo the six months program that includes the following
1.Academic empowerment classes
2.Sports activities
3.Character building activities
4.Camps
5.Drama and music therapy
6.Institutional visits
7.Counseling .
Expected Outcome
1.Improved academic results among 50 % of the students who paticipate in this programe
2.Improved personel competence skills ,decision making skills and coping skills among 50% of the students of this programe.
3.Reduction in antisocial behaviours among 50% of the participants of this programe.
